Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This page is a template provided with the source code. Have a qualified lawyer
review and adapt it for your jurisdiction and your operation before you rely on
it or publish it as your own policy.
Purpose
This policy sets out what counts as acceptable use of the service. It forms part of the terms of service.
You may
- Download your own content.
- Download content that is licensed for reuse or in the public domain.
- Download content where the rights holder has given permission.
- Run your own instance of the software, subject to its licence.
You may not
- Download content you have no right to copy.
- Circumvent paywalls, DRM, or authentication or access controls.
- Use the service to obtain or distribute material that is unlawful, defamatory, or that depicts the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Harass, stalk, intimidate or surveil any person.
- Send automated traffic that overloads the service or evades rate limits.
- Probe, scan or attempt to breach the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell or rebrand the service without permission.
- Upload or submit anything containing malware.
Rate limits and fair use
Requests are rate limited to keep the queue usable for everyone. Deliberately working around those limits is a breach of this policy.
Content the service will not fetch
The service does not log in to any platform, so content gated behind a sign-in, a paywall or an age check cannot be retrieved. Attempts to make it do so are not supported.
Enforcement
We may rate limit, block or otherwise restrict access for anyone breaching this policy, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
Reporting
Report misuse through the report abuse page.
